Disclosure for personal data processing pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003
This section describes site management procedures with respect to the personal data of users that browse the site. The following disclosure is also made in accordance with article 13 of Legislative Decree number 196/2003 as amended (also referred to as the “T.U.”) – Data Protection Act – to those who connect with “Merih s.r.l.” web services, for the protection of personal data, accessible online commencing from the address www.wisshh.com, which corresponds with the homepage of the official “Merih S.r.l.” website. Disclosure is made solely with respect to this site and not to any other web sites browsed by user through web links. “Merih S.r.l.” rigorously conforms to the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 196, 30 June 2003, on the protection of persons and other subjects with respect to the treatment of their personal data and guarantees, in accordance with that law, that the processing of personal data provided by User solely for the execution of the Service will be based upon principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and the protection of confidentiality.
1. About “WISSHH” and the information that we collect
WISSHH is community with the mission of saving with class by having Ambassadors to recommend the businesses they love. We collect and use information to provide and evaluate the use of our services and to improve them over time. The company ”Merih S.r.l” allows users who have completed the specific registration procedure and who have created their own personal profile to use the web space made available by “Merih S.r.l” to join a community that collects stories of creativity, a network for exchange, promotion and growth. Customer acknowledges that the manager of the service identifies a user upon connection, using a password provided to user, and that information relating to access to the Service is contained in an electronic register or Log, compiled and managed by “Merih S.r.l”. The content of the Log is strictly confidential and can only be rendered intelligible and produced upon request by competent Authorities.
2. Use of information provided to us
Our users’ personal information is used for internal purposes only, for statistical analysis relating to use of the site, to verify compliance with applicable laws, to improve our content and services and to customise content and the style of the site in line with your requirements. We may also use your personal information to send you information of interest to you, such as banners and advertising promotions. This will allow us to improve our site, your online experience and to satisfy your expectations. We also use personal information to resolve disputes and problems and to ensure compliance with our General Terms of Agreement. By registering with our site, you recognise and accept that data relating to your profile and to additional content listed by you on the site, including sensitive data, may be accessed from Countries other than Italy. We remind you that countries outside Europe could have data privacy standards that are lower than those in Italy.
3. Conferment of data
The conferment of personal data may be mandatory or optional. You may choose to add additional information about yourselves. If you should send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence relating to your activities on the site or to materials listed by you, we may collect this information in files, which can only be accessed by authorised personnel. We may collect information about you listed by other users on the site at our complaints office.
4. Refusal to confer data
Without prejudice to the provisions of point 3 above, if you refuse to confer mandatory personal data and to consent to use of such data for the purposes indicated under points 1 and 2 above, you will be unable to sign-up with the Website and therefore to use the Service.
5. Sharing your information
We do not share your personal information with third parties. We may however share aggregate data, for marketing and promotion purposes. In such events we do not disclose information that could be used to identify you personally. Some information, such as your passwords, will never be shared under any circumstances. “Merih S.r.l.” actively collaborates in case of any requests received from the police authorities or from third parties in relation to compliance with third party rights, including intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to share your personal information when this is required by competent authorities and when we believe that this is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with possible formalities relating to legal proceedings involving our site.
6. Use of information relating to other users
You are not allowed to use any information relating to other users for commercial purposes, spamming, harassment or threats. We reserve the right to close the account of those users who use information relating to other users in this way or who violate the General Terms of Agreement in any way.
7. Information collected automatically
Cookies are small pieces of data that we store on your computer, linked to information relating to users. We do not use cookies to transmit personal information nor do we use any kind of persistent c.d. cookies or user-tracing systems. We use session cookies, which are not stored persistently on a user computer and are automatically deleted every time a user closes the browser. The use of session cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server), which are necessary to allow safe and efficient website browsing. This excludes the need for other IT techniques that could potentially interfere with browsing confidentiality. These cookies do not allow personal data that may identify the user to be collected. However, if you wish to prevent the cookies from being stored on your computer, please refer to the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your system, clicking on “Help” in the browser menu. During use of our site we will automatically track certain information such as your IP and email addresses. Various sites use this type of information for market analysis. If you should decide to disclose your personal information using our communication tools, such as electronic messages, you will be entirely responsible for this disclosure. We reserve the right to close the account of users who fail to use the site in compliance with our General Terms of Agreement.
8. Transfer of data abroad:
Personal data can be transferred to EU Countries and to Countries outside the EU within the scope of points 1 and 2.
9. Data controller
The data "controller" is “Merih S.r.l.”, Via Covelo 44, 25049 Iseo (BS). No data processor has currently been appointed. Should a data processor be appointed notice will be published on the Website and/or sent by email and/or by way of another equivalent communication.
10. Place of data processing
Data processing connected to web services for this site takes place at the headquarters of Merih S.r.l. and is managed by technical personnel appointed for this purpose and, occasionally, by persons appointed to carry out maintenance. No data arising out of the web service is communicated or disseminated. Personal data provided by users who send requests are used solely to provide the service or performance requested and are only disclosed to third parties in case this is strictly necessary.
11. Data processing procedures
Data is processed using the operations or combination of operations indicated under article 4 (1), sub-paragraph a) T.U.: collection, registration, organisation, conservation, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, utilisation, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction of data. Operations may be conducted with or without the use of electronic or automated tools, all of which are suitable for guaranteeing data confidentiality. Processing is carried out by the data-controller, any data-processor and/or any persons appointed to carry out processing.
12. Data-subjects’ rights
Data-subjects are at any time entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to obtain information on their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or to request to supplement, update or rectify such data (art. 7 of d.lgs. no. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article a data-subject is entitled to seek the erasure, transformation to anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to challenge their processing for legitimate reasons. 13. Amendments to the Privacy Policy
Should we decide to amend our Privacy Policy or email usage policy, we will include these amendments in this document and indicate them using the procedures and locations considered most suitable for notifying this information. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy document at any time; we advise you to check it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy we will inform you by email or through notifications on our homepage.
